My sincerest gratitude to the Senri & Osaka International Schools of Kwansei Gakuin Music Department for programming and performing the flex version of my piece "The Great River Rapid Chase" this month!! This is the first LIVE performance of this version of the piece that I've heard, and (to my knowledge) the first international performance of any of my music!! Check out their performance here.
My sincerest gratitude to both the IUP Wind Ensemble and the Miami (Ohio) University Wind Ensemble for programming and performing my flex arrangement of Kevin Day's "Dancing Fire" this month!!
A few years ago, AJ Pratt commissioned me to write for him a very short, unaccompanied caprice for alto saxophone. This weekend, I was thrilled to hear AJ premiere "A Jovial Whim" during his virtual performance for the 2021 NASA Region V conference! The piece is published and now available in versions for alto saxophone, flute, Bb clarinet, bassoon, and euphonium. Additional versions for instruments not on this list are available upon request.
A couple of new commissions and pieces are additionally in the works!! I'll have more information available about them in the coming months.
