LICENSING

The following stipulations apply to musical works authored by the composer (including arrangements and transcriptions of their music either completed by the composer or authorized to be completed by another individual). Arrangements and transcriptions of pre-existing, copyrighted musical works not originally created by the composer will adhere to the stipulations of the original author of said work.

FOR ALL TITLES PUBLISHED BY M.O.T.I.F.

Certain mechanical and synchronization licensing/rights for all performances of a work purchased directly through this website or via JWPepper (if published by M.O.T.I.F.) will be automatically granted to you upon confirmation of your order. These rights include live-streaming, hosting, and/or posting the concert to an online website, video, and/or social media platform (Facebook, YouTube, SoundCloud, Vimeo, etc.). For any additional mechanical and/or synchronization licensing/rights (including, but not limited to; recordings for official CDs, digital, or vinyl formats; appearances of a purchased title on film, television, commercials/ads/promotional videos, DVD/Blu-Ray/4K, or in any other visual format), please contact the composer with your inquiries and/or requests. Mechanical licensing fees will be charged based on the compulsory rate established by copyright law, and sync licensing fees will vary depending on the circumstances of the work’s usage.

MARCHING BAND/INDOOR SHOW LICENSES: Please contact the composer directly to submit your inquiries and/or requests. There will be a fee if the request is approved.
PERMISSION TO ARRANGE: Available for marching band/indoor show licenses only. All other requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis - if approved, there will be a fee.

PLEASE NOTE: MB/ID and permission-to-arrange requests are not for distribution/sale purposes and do not substitute any performance rights you will need to obtain through ASCAP.​
