“The Spirits Summoned” explores the dangerous consequences of the most powerful and illuminating aspects of magic. In this dark and electrifying marching band show, music from Paul Dukas’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, Maurice Ravel’s “Mother Goose Suite”, and Sergei Prokofiev’s “Scythian Suite” are all woven together to present a whirlwind of sight and sound, whether chaotic and fiery or eerie and mysterious.
