“The Age of Anti-Heroes” is an epic marching band show with dark twists and turns at every angle, much like the anti-heroes that inspire it. An “Anthem for Anti-Heroes” opens the show, full of splendid grandeur and ominous harmonies. “The Ballad of Misdeeds” allows these anti-heroes an opportunity to reflect upon the mistakes they have made at every turn, all while becoming lost in the unstoppable darkness. “A Battle for the Ages” ensues shortly thereafter, in which the anthem has an opportunity to make its presence heard one more time before the show arrives to its dramatic conclusion.
